Queen Marigold intends to abdicate and her evil advisor, Staybad, has a dastardly plan. He persuades the Queen to choose Poppy, aka Little Red Riding Hood, as her successor.
But Staybad plans to become Poppy’s bridegroom and then King! Poppy, though, is in love with Jeremy, the humble but honourable woodcutter. However, the Queen will not approve the marriage!

Aided by the 3 witches from Macbeth and a trio of ghosts, Staybad turns into a wolf in order to eat up Poppy’s grandmother, Dame Hyacinth, and dispatch the unsuspecting heroine!
Will Jeremy prove himself to be a hero and defeat the wicked Staybad? And will Jeremy and Poppy marry within the 7-day limit set by the Queen? And will goodness and joy be restored to the kingdom of Merrydale?
